Gotthard Base Tunnel, ventilation system for cross cuts, Switzerland (1995 – 2011) The 57 km long Gotthard Base Tunnel consists of two parallel single track tubes, which are connected to each other every 325 m by more than 178 cross cuts. These cross cuts contain the railway installations of the tunnel and are part of the escape way to the other tube in case of an emergency. Rehabilitation of the technical equipment in the Milchbuck tunnel, Zurich, Switzerland (2006 – 2010) The tunnel's ventilation system was built and put into operation in 1983. Additional switchboards had been installed over the years and engineering rooms converted to other facilities. A rehabilitation of the entire refrigeration control centre had therefore become inevitable. Nokia Siemens Networks Switzerland, Zurich (2007 – 2008) At the end of 2007, Nokia (Switzerland) and Siemens merged their network divisions. Liechtensteinische Landesbank (Switzerland) AG, Zurich (2006 – 2008) The office building taken over by the Liechtensteinische Landesbank in the centre of Zurich was completely reconstructed and extended by a full storey. Zurich cross city link, building services for the ShopVille underground shopping centre (2000 – 2007) The new cross city link in Zurich starts at Altstetten station, passes through the existing Zurich main station and then on to Oerlikon station in an s-shaped tunnel. |
