Z Towers, Riga, Latvia (2006 – 2009) This multi-functional development is situated in a prime location near the historical town centre of Riga. The building will host a high-standard hotel, including several restaurants, office spaces, apartments and a wide range of shopping facilities. Sihlcity complex, Zurich, Switzerland (2001 – 2007) Sihlcity is an extensive complex with a shopping centre, cinema, hotel, wellness area, restaurants, offices, apartments and parking. The complex is divided into several buildings built around a large square. It covers a surface of 42,000 m2, and the total volume of all buildings is 777,000 m3. New Wankdorf stadium, Berne, Switzerland (2002 – 2005) The Wankdorf stadium was built as a multifunctional complex with commercial utilisation of adjacent and surrounding areas. 32,000 covered seats and about 800 basement parking spaces can be used for soccer games or open air events. St. Jakob Park football stadium, Basel, Switzerland (1999 – 2001) Multi-functional stadium with 31,500 seats, an underground car park, shopping centre and a senior citizens’ home. Culture and Convention Centre, Lucerne, Switzerland (1992 – 2000) The Culture and Convention Centre, designed by architect Jean Nouvel, Paris, has a surface of approximately 11,800 m2 (111 x 106 m). The complex comprises a concert hall, smaller halls, a museum, a restaurant and various service rooms. |
