Geo-technology

A phrase that translates as ‘there's no light in front of the pickaxe - from the early days of mining, only applies conditionally today, and tunnelling is still one of the most difficult disciplines in the construction business. Through extensive exploration measures, calculations and studies, we strive to predict the behaviour of soil and rock as reliably as possible and take it into account in the planning of projects. This is even more important when buildings go to the limits of technology – be it power plant caverns with huge dimensions, excavation and tunnelling with minimal overlap, or the breaking out of underground cavities in problematic soil.
